Ticket allotment sold out for Michigan game
The CMU ticket office has sold out its allotment of tickets for Saturday’s game at Michigan.
Tickets are still available through the U-M ticket office. The offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The phone number is (734) 936-8942.
Football luncheons to begin
Head Coach Mike DeBord will be hosting his first Sideline Luncheons session 11:45 Tuesday at The Embers.
The cost is $7 and the luncheons are open to the public.
DeBord, his staff and select CMU players will attend the weekly events.
Gutierrez signs with San Francisco
Former CMU standout Brock Gutierrez has signed a contract to play with the San Francisco 49ers.
The offensive lineman spent the past seven seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals but was released by the team earlier in the summer.
Gutierrez was a three-year starter at CMU and was named All-MAC in 1995.
Bentley to attend BBQ
Former CMU star Ray Bentley will be a featured speaker at the 7th annual Chippewa Club BBQ prior to the Sept. 7 home opener vs. New Hampshire.
The linebacker was named MAC M.V.P. in 1982 and appeared in two Super Bowls with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills.
