Three qualify for NCAA

Junior Amanda Storck (pole vault), sophomore Katie Davis (shot put) and freshman Jackie Smart (triple jump) all provisionally qualified, leading CMU to eight first place finishes.
The host Broncos had seven first place finishes in the unscored meet, which also included athletes from Northern Illinois, Hope, Albion, Calvin and Michigan State.
Also garnering first place finishes for the Chippewas were sophomore Fallon Bailey (100m dash), senior Brook Creed (1500m run), senior Kelli Kirchofer (high jump), junior Jackie Bozin (long jump) and junior Tasha Reynolds (javelin).
CMU also had five second place finishers, including Creed (800 m run), Smart (100m hurdles), junior Devyn Allen (triple jump), freshman Kari Taylor (discus) and the 4x400m relay squad.
