Kaman leads Chippewas over Georgia State


The CMU basketball team rode Chris Kaman to a 76-52 victory over Georiga State on Saturday. Kaman in his first game back after a two game suspension, grabbed a team high 17 rebounds and scored 19 points while being a force in the middle. Mike Manciel led the Chippewas (2-1 overall) with 23 points. Georgia State got into foul trouble early as Kaman caused them fits. The Panthers committed 27 personal fouls while center Nate Williams fouled out playing only 18 minutes. Bam Campbell fouled out seeing just 21 mintues. The two of them combined scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds. David Webber was three-for-11 shooting for nine points. CMU travels to Oklahoma on Wednesday for a non-conference match-up.
