Two arraigned, charged with open murder after April 20 shooting

Two men arrested in connection with the April 20 fatal shooting at an apartment in the 700 block of Edgewood Drive were arraigned today in Isabella County Trial Court.

Miykael Norfleat, 20, of Chicago, and Justin Collins, 22, of Mount Pleasant, were both charged with open murder and first degree home invasion, according to a press release from the Mount Pleasant Police Department. Norfleat also is facing a charge of firearm possession charge and a charge of illegally carrying of a concealed weapon. Collins is facing an additional felony firearm charge.
Former CMU student Raven Tre-Von Edelen, of Wyoming, Michigan, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both men are being held in the Isabella County Jail on a $1 million cash bond.
