Florida Georgia Line sells out Thursday concert at Soaring Eagle
With 11 No. 1 billboard hits, country-music duo Florida Georgia Line is bringing its act to a sold-out show at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort on Thursday in Mount Pleasant.
Christina Griffus, Advertising and Public Relations Manager at Soaring Eagle, said tickets were sold out within two days after becoming available on Feb. 27.
With a capacity of 11,000, Griffus said concerts at the casino's outdoor venue averages 9,000 people.
"It highly impacts the economy for the businesses in the local area such as dining and hotels," she said.
The concert begins at 6 p.m.
Griffus said the concert will have its own Snapchat geofilter concert goers can utilize.
Florida Georgia Line is comprised of Brian Kelley, from Ormond Beach, Florida and Tyler Hubbard, from Monroe, Georgia.
Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort is located at 6800 Soaring Eagle Blvd. in Mount Pleasant.
