Former Central Michigan University defensive back Brandon Greer appears in court on Aug. 19.

Several women who say Brandon Greer approached them and tried to get them into his car were scheduled to testify the morning of Aug. 24 before the hearing was waived.

The former Central Michigan University football player will next face an arraignment in circuit court. The date has not yet been set.

Greer is charged with intent to commit sexual penetration, criminal sexual conduct, attempted unlawful imprisonment, lying to a peace officer, eight counts of disturbing the peace and one count of assault and battery.

At least seven women have alleged to have been approached by Greer, who they say made sexual comments to them and referenced having a gun to some.

Greer remains housed in the Isabella County Jail since his arrest on July 9. He was kicked off the CMU football team shortly after.
