Year One

Jan. 12, 2010:

Dan Enos was introduced as Central Michigan University’s new head football coach after three seasons as Michigan State University’s running backs coach.

Sept. 2, 2010:

Dan Enos earns his first win as CMU head coach defeating Hampton University 33-0 at Kelly Shorts Stadium.

Sept. 9, 2010:

A week after winning his first game as coach, Enos is handed his first career loss at CMU in a 13-10 overtime defeat to Temple University.

Nov. 5, 2010:

Enos captures his first victory over rival Western Michigan University 26-22 in front of 22,355 at Kelly Shorts Stadium. The Chippewas finished the season 3-9 overall and 2-6 in the Mid-American Conference.

Year Two

Sept. 17, 2011:

WMU defeats CMU 44-14 avenging its loss from the previous year.

Sept. 24, 2011:

Enos’ first game against his alma-mater MSU. The Spartans topped the Chippewas 45-7, Enos’ second largest defeat as CMU head coach.

Nov. 4, 2011:

In a game televised on ESPN 2, the Chippewas watched their comebacks go wide left as kicker David Harman missed a 28-yard field goal attempt on the final play of the game.

Nov. 18, 2011:

CMU falls Toledo 44-17 in the last game of the season as the Chippewas finish the year 3-9 overall and last in the Western Division of the MAC at 2-6.

Year Three

Sept. 22, 2012:

CMU upsets the University of Iowa 32-31 on the road, giving the Chippewas one of its biggest wins in team history.

Nov. 3, 2012:

The Broncos kept the Victory Cannon in Kalamazoo for the second straight year with a 42-31 victory over the Chippewas.

Nov. 23, 2012:

In a must-win situation, CMU routed the University of Massachusetts 42-24 to become bowl eligible for the first time since 2009.

Dec. 26, 2012:

The Chippewas edged Western Kentucky University 24-21, capturing the Little Ceasar’s Bowl crown. It was CMU’s first bowl victory with Enos.

Year Four

Aug. 31, 2013:

CMU traveled to the Big House to face the University of Michigan. The Wolverines defeated the Chippewas 59-9, handing Enos his worst loss as head coach at CMU.

Oct. 19, 2013:

The Chippewas hosted No. 23 ranked Northern Illinois, but fell to the Huskies 38-17.

Nov. 16, 2013:

CMU recaptured the Victory Cannon traveling to WMU and defeating the Broncos 27-22.

Nov. 29, 2013:

Despite a 42-10 win over Eastern Michigan University, the Chippewas failed to earn a bowl bid as they finished the season 6-6 overall and 5-3 in the MAC.

Year Five

Sept. 6, 2014:

CMU remained undefeated after topping Purdue University 38-17 at Ross-Ade Stadium. It was another significant victory over a Big Ten opponent.

Nov. 22, 2014:

WMU took down CMU 32-20 after Chippewa players refused to shake hands before the game. Enos’ was 2-3 against the Broncos as CMU head coach.

Dec. 24, 2014:

CMU used a Hail Mary pass on the final play of the Inagural Bahamas Bowl to erase a 35-point deficit and come within one point of sending the game into overtime. Enos’ decision to go for the 2-point conversion failed, and the Chippewas lost 49-48.

Jan. 22, 2015:

Dan Enos resigned as the head football coach of Central Michigan University. Enos went 26-36 as the head man of the Chippewas.
